my best pal, garrett clements asked me to sb. whoo! good thing everyone knew except me. 

he played the uke and sang with our pal Malia Loo (she's so great) the song You & I, by good ole' ingrid. it was great. after they finished the song, (btw, his whole 4th period class was in there) bekah opened up the poster pictured below. 

i answered him back by going into HIS 4th period class with MY fourth period class. i brought a trusty keyboard with me and set up. i played the song "We Made a Pact" on the piano, 

...but changed the words a little.

"you asked me to the senior ball,

you came right in and played that uke.

and might i add it was so cute.

it was just great.

Easter Weekend

thursday: dress hunt. i finally found one. its blue! meg and whit spent the day with me, helping me look all around town. sorry about the fly episode in wendy's...

friday: earth day. good thing i drove more on this day than ever before, gosh. sorry earth. i also took a lame math test on this day.

at night, i hit up Malia Loo's dance party.

it was fun. it was hip.

but i had a little episode. didn't eat anything that whole day, and so after "whip my hair" i got a little light headed. well, a lot light headed. it was bad, very bad. i passed out i think but good thing i've got high quality friends- they helped me. thanks :) glad that day is over.

saturday: rode horses, four wheelers, roasted hot dogs and had an egg hunt with the cousins at our corrals. 

then we set up bounce houses in our front yard for everyone and their dogs (literally). the neighbors, the neighbors kids, the neighbors kids kids, our family, our family's family, the whole gang. 

then we had the annual family egg bust, and garrett won. everyone was a bit upset. no, everyone was peeved. so naturally, he was disqualified since he wasn't family.

i love being surrounded by the ones i love.

that night, i was a bit of a DD (daredevil). we snuck into ******* and went hottubbing- garrett, amber, jordan, barber, and me. it was great. we talked of disney movies, wishes, and rapped to nicki minaj- amber's favorite.

SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND. Yiiii.

Too good.

I am so blessed. Life is so good.
I have excellent examples and they make me want to strive to be better every day. This post sounds cheesy but I sincerely mean it.

April 9th was a great day.

It was this kid's b-day.

I took the ACT, got a 36 of course. I also got interviewed about viola and was told i get full ride to wherever i want in whole entire world. i can even go into other galaxies if i want ;)

I then had a bombin' (<--- ew 7th grade slang) day date with the most handsome boy in the school. Brady Berryessa.

he made me hold his leg.. yeah girl.

Mrkl Brn did my hair. She's a champ!

and then Brady and I mobbed up Preference. He's a great guy.

Well, that's all. Life is good. The church is true. and... I'm happy. I thank the man upstairs.

I am about to do a very random blog post. And it's all about..

he's great. seriously. i wish all of you could understand... 

this post is going to sound like i'm in love with him, but i just want everyone to TRY and understand why i think 

Levi Neely is the greatest person ever.

His love for music amazes me. He loves all the dumb stuff, like history on composers, etc. He's just a little smarty pants! That brings me to my next quality.

He's smart. Smart as HECK! he is very intelligent, and he loves to learn.

Levi is willing. ALWAYS willing. He's accompanied me for countless events. And he puts up with me being bossy ;)

He's fun. SO fun. He got my clever white elephant gift at the Madrigal Christmas Party and even if he felt awkward, he pretended like he loved it :)

I have many groups of friends, but Levi seems to slide his way into all of them. My music friends (even ones at different schools) think he's great, of course, but my other friends think he is TOP notch as well. We went to UPAY. and he defended me and told me he liked my outfit (what a guy).

we ate a lot of food... but who cares :)

Now, before this post gets too creepy, I want to say a couple more things...

Levi is so easy to talk to. He holds good conversation and is an excellent listener. I feel like we have SO much in common, but yet, we are so different.

We went to JP (junior prom) togetha! it was great. we had a violin thing up north that weekend and so we drove home and went straight to the dance on saturday. got there at 10:30, NBD. (no big deal)

The drive home from SLC is about 5 hours. it FLEW by for us. This is probably when I got to know Levi the best. We talked and talked and TALKED. Me, him, and my mother. He is going to go places in this life- for real. I look up to him a lot.

not gonna lie.

it's been a rough week. today is day 13 of being sick, which is awesome. and of course i've been out of town which means craploads of homework. i'm usually the girl who's "got it all together" and thinks she's superhuman or something.

... but i've learned my lesson. 

i'm thankful for the people who truly care about me: my good friends & great counselors and teachers. 
and i'm thankful for my testimony and good ole' prayer.


well, that is all for tonight. i feel better already and hope this feeling stays.

2010, you did me good.

I honestly feel that I take so much for granted. I have been given so much in this life, I can't even explain it. 2010 was a great year for me. I had many "firsts".

January- I made All-State Orchestra, one of 14 violas for the state of Utah and I got a new nephew.

February- Sweet Sixteen :) I got my licence and went on my first date with David Lewis Lloyd.

March- I went to the beach for the first time and had an experience of a lifetime in CA, taking special needs adults to Legoland for the day. I will never forget you, Tammy :) 

April- I competed in State Solo & Ensemble for my first time, and got a I on my solo.

I also went to my first high school dance and met Carol, a new friend that has now changed my life.

 May- I completed my first year of high school and saw some of my best friends graduate.

SUMMER 2010: I had the busiest, but no doubt the most life-changing summer. Music camps, Girls Camp, Youth Conference, Lake Trips, EFY, the list goes on. I will never schedule myself like that again, but it was definitely worth it. {refer back to my summer blog post} but one fun thing I did, was hike the #redmtn for the first time with Joey and Jacob. 

August- Started Junior Year. I got much harder classes, but try to make the best out of them :)

September- Attended my first Indian Wedding, and went to my first formal dance- Homecoming. (with one of my best friends, Irfan Mahmud.)

October- Kim and I took 3rd place at Super Region at 1st Doubles for tennis.

SCHS Girls Tennis also took Region for the 1st time!

November- SADIES. It's my first year being Head Editor, therefore it was my first time putting on Sadies. It was also my first time attending Sadies with a date. Also, I saw SC take STATE in Volleyball. This was my first time seeing us take state :)

I am down to the last month (I can't believe you've made it this far reading this forever long blog post) December 2010.  Here is just a fun little thing from December: It was the first time I have been in the finale number of one of our studio recitals. I have never that opportunity so being able to be the finale for the Christmas Recital was truly a treat :) But on a bigger note, I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I got to sing and play my viola for our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson. Our Madrigals had this amazing opportunity that I will never forget.

Thank you 2010, you did me good. 

...2011, can you follow suit?

DECEMBER has treated me well. i am so thankful for how blessed i am to be able to do all the fun things i do during this Christmas season.

Madrigal Christmas Trip: ^

We sang at so many amazing locations like the Joseph Smith Memorial, Primary Children's Hospital, Hartvigsens School for the Severely Disabled, State Capitol Building, and many more. The most memorable performance was definitely singing for our beloved prophet, Thomas S. Monsen. That experience is something I will never forget. (I also got to mark 2 things off my bucklist. yess.)
