Insightful

Denise Webster, one of my role models, posted this article to Facebook a couple hours ago.

It is so interesting to hear this lady's point of view. Read it.

Question.

*conversation with myself just barely*

Question: Do you ever have solo dance slash study slash lunch parties?

Answer: I do, yes.

Follow-up Question: Do you love them?

YES.

Happy Tuesday. Monday sucked but Tuesdey's doin' good so far. GREAT actually.

Eat oatmeal for breakfast, say hi to every person you pass on the streets today, say prayers and just chat with the Big Guy Upstairs when you're bored, study the amazing human body, and talk to your pet fish in its bowl. All of this equates to a great day.

cat necklace.

My chemistry professor is 5 foot flat, using an overhead projector, and is wearing a cat necklace.

I love this semester already.

the swing of things..

Ahhhh. I know school starting back means STRESS, but it feels so good to be back.

All 4 of us roommates are home, dodgeball for FHE was so fun, and long talks with ward friends always hit the spot.

First day back= SUCCESS.

The Schedg: (schedule)

-Human Anatomy Lecture + Lab (with cadavers!)
-Chemistry Lecture + Chem Lab + Chem Discussion
-L.E.A.P. (a humanities type class where we learn about poverty, refugees, racism, policies, etc. We read books and discuss them, discuss community issues, and just learn about life. Only 25 students in there and I had the same classmates, peer advisor, AND professor last semester. yay familiarity)
-Tennis
-Orchestra
-Institute

I am so happy to get back to the good ol' Biology building, meet back with my LEAP pals, rehearse and perform stellar music in orchestra, see my cute kids at the elementary every week again, get back into tennis, learn to love chemistry, make new friends and strengthen relationships with old ones, and most of all... welcome in NEW adventures.

I'm young and I love it.

Sound cheesy? I don't care.

...It's good to be back in the swing of things.

Thursday, January 3, 2013

Oh no.

Today is Thursday and class starts Monday. Before then, I need to:

-add another class
-order books
-clean my room/ bathroom
-move stuff to my hard drive (disk full shiz..)
-catch up on blogs
-upload pictures to FB
-clean the kitchen
-wash a ton of dishes
-write some letters
-catch up and post some of my awesome blog posts that are "in progress"
-exchange some Nike's at the mall
-exercise
-go to the bank
-make a Walmart run
-go grocery shopping
-write in the family newsletter
-write in my journal
-run loads and loads of laundry
-hang up my frames in my bedroom
-prepare the relief society lesson

I should have used this week to REALLY catch up... but instead I have had one of those just awesome weeks.

*Spent some quality time it St. George with my grandma, mom, the rest of my family, and the tennis girls. Shopped in the StG, took naps on the tramp in the amazing weather, and much more.

*Met up with Heidi, Alex, Tori, and Grant at PF Changs for dinner when we returned to Salt Lake City on Saturday night. Such a fun night. I love my fam.

Tori ate this Great Wall of Chocolate... alone..

*Played our musical number in my roommate Emilee's family ward, watched a movie, ate a wonderful dinner, and hung out in Sandy all day Sunday.

*Worked a fetch-ton of hours. My paycheck is going to be delisshhhhhhh.
6AM-6PM
*Moved my cute fish Betsy up here to the city. She is thriving and loving city life. I'll keep you all posted.

*Tuesday Heidi and I shopped all around northern Utah, got us some manly man burgers for lunch, and hit up a bar to celebrate 2013 officially arriving. That night my bff Grant came down from Ogden and we went grocery shopping, picked up some booze (we didn't drink it of course. just wanted to say we bought it. now it's sitting in my fridge...) and drove all around the valley looking at the city and talking about life.

*Wednesday Heid and I went snowboarding all day, we had a blast of course and definitely laughed more than we actually boarded. Snowboarding isn't really my thing... I'll stick to wake boarding.

i love this one.

Tomorrow I'm taking the train to Ogden for the day and Saturday I'm going to a concert.

NOT JUST ANY CONCERT, FOLKS.
WE ARE TALKIN' JUSTIN BIEBER HERE. THEE JUSTIN BIEBER.
Megan Chalmers and I have had our tickets since when... last APRIL?

......Yeah, we are stoked. We love the Biebs.

Well... that's all for my random blog post.
