just call me a daydreamer...

I guess you could say I'm a master daydreamer. I'm so good at it, that sometimes I can't recall if something actually happened or if I daydreamed it. 

I also have my entire future planned out in my head. That's pretty dang good if you ask me.

Life is about to change over here for Abbey Hafen. It's about to change a whole lot. I've pretty much had control over every decision thus far- where I want to go to school, what I want to do, when I'm leaving, what classes I'm taking, where I'll work, etc. But the time is about to come... where things are just gonna happen. And my daydreams will be put on hold. 

Life is about to happen. All I hope is that it doesn't leave a mark on my face when it slaps me.

Three cheers for daydreamers, may all your dreams come true.

I thought once I got a laptop, I'd be better at blogging. I was very wrong. Here I am, blogging from my iPhone, at midnight.

Cheers to prayer. It's saved me the past few weeks.

And lastly.... Cheers to the guy from NYC that came in to 25 Main and asked me about my life plans. Told me I was stellar. Told me he was proud. Told me "You have the goods, girl." (don't worry, he meant it in a different way than you think. )

It's late, I know.

It's almost 1AM. I just have so much on my mind. 


I've been rummaging through pictures of me and my council from this year. I wish I had a way with words so I could explain to anyone reading this, that EVERY single person on council this year loves this school and everyone in it. We love SCHS. 


I've had the dream senior year. I really hope every single person at SCHS knows that I love them and this school. I'm a warrior, and will always be a warrior. Graduation is approaching, and I just don't know if I'm ready. I've shown signs of SENIORITIS for months now, but when the day comes that I actually put on my cap and gown and wait for my name to be called... I have a feeling I'll be wishing it was the first day of school again.


I love my life and everyone in it.

One month.

Hey, Class of 2012. Graduation is in ONE month. ONE. Numero uno. The big O-N-E. I bought my cap and gown today, I guess it was about time. Life is so good, and I'm ready for the next step.

SENIOR WEEK:


Mondey- No scoo!
Tuesdey- Senior Show-off! Watch video here
Wednesdey- Double-dutch and Four-Square. Also, some big-time filming for a movie.
Thursdey- Movie Night- Remember the Titans.
Fridey- Senior Assembly.
Saturdey- Fishing, lunch, pictures, and the dance. David Lloyd and I went H.A.M.- no doubt that's the hardest I've ever partied. We honestly went H.A.M. the whole night. 

Thursday was Southwestern Regional Sterling Scholar. I won in the category of Music. This was such a blessing! I have worked hard my whole life for this, and it happened. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started violin lessons at four, and have played every since. I've toured around the United States and have had opportunities of a lifetime. The paths my life took are credited to my music, hands down. I love music and the bond I have with it is something I wish I could explain.

Winning Region made it possible for me to go away for school. Consider me a Utah Ute. Go Utes! I still love the Cougs, but I don't think I can stay true for long..
